The Trustees of the Cape Museum of Fine Arts, Dennis, Cape Cod, are
pleased to announce the opening of the new Yasuna Denny Sculpture
Garden. The garden is a
gift of the Yasuna and Denny families of Harwichport and will feature
560 feet of paved pathway, beautiful plantings and seven sculptures on
view. Plans call for an
additional five sculptures over the next several years.
Artists whose work will be on view are Arnold
Geissbuhler, Gilbert Franklin, Del Filardi, Nancy Webb, Polly Seliger
Egelson and Xavier Gonzalez with a newly commissioned work by Paul
Bowen scheduled for installation this fall.
The Yasuna Denny Sculpture Garden was designed by
G. Rockwood Clark of Gardens by the Sea with additional installation
support by CJ’s Enterprise, Green Acres Contracting, C.S. Francis
and Sons Tree Service, LaFleur Electric, Crosby Monuments and Desmond
Well Drilling.
The Cape Museum of Fine Arts is located on the
grounds of the Cape Playhouse Center for the Arts, Dennis Village,
Cape Cod and is open Monday thru Saturday, 10am – 5pm and Sunday 1pm
– 5pm. For further
